We did an in-district transfer to this school after having a bad experience at my child's previous school down the road. I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air Remington Point is!! A wonderful atmosphere, friendly teachers, extremely happy kiddos! My son has an amazing 1st grade teacher who cares
... Read more deeply about her class. The 'specials' teachers are great, office staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint so far is the after school traffic, which every school has. This school is located on a pretty busy 2 lane road. Morning drop off is congested, but easy to get through. Afternoon pick up is more of a mess with parents who leave their cars unattended, when they are not supposed to. A kink I'm hoping will work itself out as the year goes on :) Overall, a GREAT SCHOOL! This school only teaches the TASK test - that is it! EMSISD is one of the worst places to put your kid. We moved to Keller and love it.

We had gone to this school for three years. My son a straight A student was scared to death about the TAKS test due to the pressure the teachers put on them. The PTA is a social club and if you don't fit in forget about it. The teachers in whole are great, the fine arts teacher is awesome. A few

I came from another district four years ago and it was supposed to be the biggest and best. More like the worst. Mrs. Jackson rocks! Anyone who can work with 800 children and keep their sanity and do it with a smile has my vote. If these parents were to get involved in the school, attend meetings volunteer

I have 2 children in the district, we have been at 3 elementary schools and Remington Point is by far the best. My child has been at Remington Point for 4 years since it opened and it is the best school we have been involved in. Compared to the other schools, the art/music program is outstanding. My

She goes above and beyond to support her teachers and parents while keeping what is best for the child in mind. She has high expectations for teachers, staff and students. The Principal doesn't seem to be very understanding or compassionate. There isn't a 'team' atmosphere. The staff is somewhat lacking in concern for the parents until they are faced with a problem. I worry about the kids safety. If I could put my children at another campus in this district I would.

I am extremely disappointed in the fine arts program at Remington Point Elementary. All they seem to do are musicals and very little actual art or music. They are missing out on the academic benefits a good art and music program provides to early learners.

This being our third year at Remington Point, I feel I have a good grasp on the school. I am involved in volunteering at the school and see first hand some things that go on there. The students enjoy coming to school most of the time. The curriculum is a little too tough, but maybe that's what the kids need. My biggest complaint is the parking lot size. It is very dangerous dropping off and picking up your students. The school size is just too small for the volume. Thank you. Read less

Remington Point is a great school overall. The teacher's we've been associated with (through our children), have been FANTASTIC. We've experienced K, 1, 4, and 5th grades. You will NOT find a better Art/Drama teacher. She is so gifted in both her ability to teach art and bring out the talent
