If your child has any aspirations of attending college, you will receive no help from the school. Academically, athletically...no help. ... Read more many people let this over shaddow the good. I agree with others stating that the fine arts program is very well developed and the marching band continues to do exceptionally. There is always a strong band with athletics, I was an athlete all through middle and high school. This school does have a very close knit bond and although a few comments have been made about not coming here as a new student. I seem to think for new students it's easier to find new friends because when we get a new student everyone knows by lunch or 4th and everyone wants to know more about them
... Read more and tries to find an excuse to get closetr to them I would recemend this school to any of my friends because of easy it is to get to know everyone. I really do love the fine art program at this school though so if you have a musician or atist I highly recemend Castleberry. Read less

This school is very prideful and enthusiastic, but lately in the past few years the violence rates have drastically increased. I left the school because of all the political problems. Basically if your entire family hasn't been raised in the district...your an outsider. Very small town and not very open

CHS strivesd to make aach child as successful as can be. The offer a basic selection of courses including AP and Pre-Ap. A limited number of elective courses, nothing out of the ordinary. They have a strong fine arts programs especially in band, jazz band, theatre and art. Sporting activities are available

Quality of education has gone down in the last 20-25 years. I went to school here and my children are enrolled. They tend to pick on some kids. Have seen this in two different families. They get away with it Because they are a small district it is very political. Don't get your kids involved in this...PLEASE!

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
