I think this is a great school. Their motto 'We Are Family' they really mean it. The teachers and staff are all so nice and if they have any concerns of any kind they will try day and night to get ahold of you and work with you to resolve the issues. I love this school and so do my kids.

Safety issues present, primarily that two times a year they have a 2 hour luncheon in which the ENTIRE STAFF participates while parents come in and cover the classrooms and office. No background checks are required for the parents that come. I have also noticed teachers not paying attention to children

My older 2 children attended BH and now my youngest 1 is. I have always loved this school. The teachers are incredible and it is nice that it is a smaller school. BH is on the right track. The improvements are wonderful . Keep up the great job!

Burton Hill Elementary is improving compared to what the beginning of the school year. My daughter had to change teachers in the first month because her class was overlimit by the states regulations. We finally got a new principal 2 months ago, and she is definitely on a mission to fix up the problems
... Read more that the old principal left behind. The old principal was very unorganized, let alot of things around the school go, and just made the school horrible. But we have a principal now who actually cares about the children, and has been working hard to improve our school. So hopefully Burton Hill has a brighter future now. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
