First i must comment on the following post: 'I am very disappointed in the level of education my child received. There is no focus on encouraging students to take higher level courses and the TAKS preparation is non-existent. If you want your student to just barely achieve this is the school for you

No this school doesn't focus on the TAKS test or teaching our children to take the dang thing, and I for one, as a parent of 3 Treetops students, LOVE that about them. Yes, they stress the importance of the TAKS test but they do not obsess about it. Read less

I chose Treetops for my family because I love the dedication of the administration and faculty to every student. Students are not just a number, they are known by everyone on campus, K-12. This is not the school for everyone, if you are looking for after school activities, join UIL in your neighborhood.

My high school student ranked well above the national average on her ACT and SAT. There is so much more to school other than state mandated testing. The real question for us as a family is whether or not our children are safe and are learning at their ability. Read less

Because of this, she continued to expand her knowledge, social skills and confidence and is above her grade level in language, math and science. The downside is that in being a charter it doesnt have things like a cafeteria, gym, library system, limited extracurricular activities. Read less
