10 Parent Reviews for El Paso School Of Excellence Charter School

I had thought it would have been a great idea to put my daughter into this school but come to find out after one year how awful this school is run. They lack serious security and some of the mornings i found myself walking some of the other children to class. I do not think its acceptable to have to ...  Read more

I was a high school student at this school for 2 years. In my experience at this school I have seen, heard, and been through things I wish I hadn't. The school had no air conditioning except in the room that use to be used for keeping food cold(the freezer). The teachers were very lazy, unorganized, ...  Read more

My son has been attending this school for 3 years. While it is obvious that this school is severely underfunded i feel it is still a good school and it would be even better if the parents would participate in making much needed improvements. What makes this a good school are the loyal and caring ...  Read more

it's funny that most negative reviews come from those with 2 years of experience or less at this school. Could it be that they are using this school as a means of day care due to the fact that they accept kids at age three and the classes are from 8-3. The pre-k at public schools are only 1/2 days ...  Read more

After the second week, parents finally forced Mr. Lewis to purchase individual units for the first floor classrooms. Now that the air conditioning units are 'fixed', the second floor is noticeably unbearable. There ...  Read more

My kids have been going to this school for about 2 years. The oldest one is 12 years old, and he will not be going to the school anymore due to the lack of extracurricular activities. Second the youngest one is 7 years old, and he will not be returning due to safety and any parent will tell you the same.

My sister had all four of her kids attending this school. She saw a lot of improvement in reading and math. There is more one to one with the students and it helped them become more open. She was more involve with their education than ever before.

I've had two of my children in this school for at least two years. I have seen little or no progress on the academic, arts or sports programs. During the PTA meetings many things are promised but never delivered. With a few exceptions, the quality of their teachers, at least in the elementary level, ...  Read more

My child was a student at this school. I think it is a good school, the teachers are great, but I think they have a lot to work on, especially on the safety of the students.

I am not a parent but would like to express my feelings about your Principal Juan Ramos and the college degree issue. I have heard Mr. Ramos speak of all the students and the school with much enthusiasm. He carries himself in a very professional manner. There is no doubt in my mind that he is most qualified, ...  Read more
