I've read some of the reviews and I'm wondering if we're talking about the same school. I had my boy in the school for only a couple of years and I have to say if it wasn't for Bethel, my child would not have graduated -- at all. These people invested in all the students and made such a diference that

My emotional and social well-being would be nonexistant if not for the love and support shown by the staff and my peers. As far as favoritism goes, I wasn't a member of the church but I fit in because I tried to. When you are unhappy, you can always find stuff to complain about. Some changes were made this school year that did reflect the acknowledgement of some of the issues at the Bethel particulary in the middle school. I am removing my child next year. The school and the enviroment is steadily becoming unhealthly and debilitating for children above the age of 12 or 13.

We do have to deal with some issues....but generally the teachers do a decent job with the kids. Facilities are a problem at Bethel...but again.... the value of services received vs the cost is not bad at all.
