... Read more are at SCS because they love to teach, love our kids and love SCS. And they pray for my children! You can't find a better group of teachers than those at SCS. They offer 'specials' in Music, Spanish, Art, and Computer. And there is PE everyday! In addition to the academics, the children are learning the Bible and how to apply it to their lives. The school family is like an extended family - supporting with a meal ministry, prayer group, etc. The recent administration changes have raised the bar and we are loving it. Scofield has made a HUGE impact on my child not only through the quality education he receives there but also by growing him spiritually. Scofield is definitely a hidden gem and you ll be glad you found it. If you were to relocate this school in University Park or North Dallas the tuition cost would increase dramatically. We have loved Scofield Christian School. SCS has a great family atmosphere, small classes and an awesome staff. Our children have had teachers who have challenged them academically and spiritually. We feel our children will be well prepared for the next level of education.

High Quality academics. There are some privates that are better, but your going to pay 2-3 times more. Academics far superior than public. They have many extra activities. Although I believe the art program is their weakest link, the kids still enjoy it. They can also have private instrument lessons
... Read more right at the school, at nice prices. High level parent involvement by both moms, dads, grandparents...Usually for field trips it breaks down to about 3 kids per parent. Each grade has a couple special activities they do to make it fun. For example, third grade does a two week study of Christmas Around the World, which is very interesting (even for the parents.) Though they have to wear unifor, they also can earn 'free dress' on Friday. This is kind of nice for those kids that dislike uniforms. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
