Great school, if they were more organization in there front office staffing and had more parent participation. Which is none. And some teachers need interpersonal skills to deal with parents and students, they need more disciple when they have students that are repeat offenders, or removed altogether...

If you TRULY VALUE and I mean TRULY VALUE your child s education you will NOT send your child to Pegasus. If you just want your child to go anywhere close to your home or job this school is for you. There is no parent involvement what so ever. There is no screening process, my child was able to attend

The academics are just not there if you have a child who is above average and I'm not saying on an Einstein level either simply made all b s the previous year. The teachers will phone you for behavior issues but not academic ones. The teachers are allowed to grade on behavior and we know how that works with a student who is not being challenged. There is a $15 fee for any property (MP3, cell phone, handheld games) that teachers have taken up from kids instead of holding like a normal school till the end of the school year. They only have 2 vendors you may get uniforms from and they are very costly considering after 2 washes you find yourself sewing the hems. I can t speak for the high school but the elementary is definitely not a good fit for parents that TRULY VALUE their child s education. This is my child s first and last year, finally the nightmare is over. I was recently at 2 separate events involving fellow first time parents at Pegasus and before I could give my opinion they were informing me how poor the academics are. The only thing I got out of Pegasus were 2 new friends as mentioned before who to value education. Read less

My daughter has attended Pegasus since 7th grade. She is now finishing her freshmen year. This school has the potential to be one of the best schools in Dallas, but it lacks direction. Who is head of this school? There are too many associate, and assistiant principals. No guidance councelors. No
... Read more college prep courses. No parental involvement. Not enough 'after' school activities. I feel the things they are very strict about, and focusing on should be moved to the back burner. There are too many other issues that are far more important. Parking is horrible if you transport your child to and from school. I personally feel that the teachers are not the best they could be. With the school being as small as it is, they could have more individualized help for the students that need it. There are a lot of undisciplined children running around with no supervision. Parents please be cautious when sending your child to school. I don't know how we managed to survive this past year. It was truly a nightmare. Do your research before considering this school. As the other reviewer said, they do tell you how good it is but when in school, its nothing but disappointment.

I am truly pleased with this school. It continues to grow from the looks of their TAKS scores. They are willing to really help their students succeed and they truly challenge their students.

I think this is a really great school for my children. I have a 4th and 5th grader at Pegasus. Before my kids attended Pegasus, they didn't pass all of their TAKS. This year my kids passed all parts of the TAKS. That should say a great deal about this school. My kids are so excited to be here, and

I feel that this school offers little to none in the area of parental involvement. They have a great sale for the school and once in, it's been nothing but discouraging. I try to understand how 100% can pass the TAKS, but not pass math.
