We have really enjoyed our first 3 weeks at Sanger. We're just in Kindergarten, but our child loves it. His teacher is really fantastic. The classes are small, which is great. I see the principal all the time and they have a great policy of being open to parents for lunch with your child, etc. They

You have to put in if you want to get out, parents! I completely disagree with the Sept. 5th review. These teachers and this principal are obviously working very hard to make sure that all the students at Sanger succeed. Our experience has been fantastic. I passed Dr. Allen nearly everyday the first

Our son's teacher has gone out of her way to give me feedback on my son, and even positive feedback on his day my friend when she picked him up from school. The Real Gardens program is exciting, the dual language program is something that is going to be a true advantage and there are some great parents who are ready to make a positive impact where they can. We are very proud and feel so lucky to be at Sanger! Read less

I'm very surprised by the Sept. 5th review. My experience so far has been great. The principle was outside every day the first week of school during the children pick up time greeting students and parents. He's been available in the office when I've been in. My daughter's teacher is wonderful and
... Read more my very shy and reserved girl opened up by day 3 due to the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the school. She's in the dual language program and she loves it. Not much is understood yet but I know that will come. PTA is ramping up to be very involved and teachers, parents and the principle are very committed to this school. Small class sizes are a HUGE benefit vs. Lakewood and Hexter schools. I'm thrilled so far. Read less

I'm disappointed in this school. The atmosphere is very cold, and the principal is never there. He doesn't treat all the parents equally. I'm withdrawing my child.

We have only been at the school for 2 weeks, and so far it has been head and shoulders better than last year when we were at Hexter. the Teachers are wonderful, the Principal so far has been supportive and ready to listen, and the dual language program actually has my son engaged in learning more than

We thought this school was great last year. Our daughter had a wonderful teacher and excelled. This year she has been forced into a 'dual two-way language program' and is just lost. I'm all for learning another language, but not at the expense of all your other learning. Looks like we will be taking

The teachers were wonderful, but the principal was so unsupportive that it drags the whole school down. Hopefully, when this principal retires another will replace him and the school will be as positive as it can be. It is because of him that many familes relocate and send their students to other schools.

Alex Sanger is a one sided school that does not have the kids learning at their interest. I rate this school as a 3 maybe.

I had 2 children in Sanger from 1996-2003 I still go back & talk to the teachers. They were for the most part great. The principal has a tendency to tell people what they want to hear rather than what is going on. He was the only problem I had with the school.
