I attend Steele and think it's great. There is something here for everyone. The school is quiteunique and a but odd because although it's placed in the farm country, it seems totally different once inside. Not to mention the inside looks amazing.

As far as extracuriculars go, Steele is an excellent school to attend. Wheter you are interested in atletic, fine arts, or underwater basket weaving, Steele has someting for just about everyone to do. (So, maybe we don't have underwater basket weaving yet.) It is often the teachers, not the rowdy students, who cause the vicious cycle that leads to the student-teacher tention. My teachers are often so focused on attempting to quiet my misbehaving peers that they are unable to properly teach us. Teachers are also unequipped when handleing these students, resulting in some students taking advantage of teachers and having the teachers, in turn, simply give up, resulting in no teaching whatsoever in some cases. A huge disappointment! This school focuses on 'passing the buck'. Incompetant counseling staff. Extremely unorganized. Staff does a terrible job with communicating with the parents.

Steele is a wonderful school and I've really enjoyed working with most of the teachers. Steele offers great variety extracurricular activities as well as many tutoring opportunities for students needing a bit more help. Be aware of the 'Hard-line' approach taken by some administrators and staff.
