I have spent two years so far at Creek Valley Middle School, and so far, I have nothing much to complain about. The theater system is outstanding, and my friends enjoy it very much. Personally, I find that the LEAP system appeals the most to me, as the teachers are kind, helpful, and understandable.
... Read more They take the time to create a more personal connection with the students by giving advice, listening, and helping students with their troubles. Also, the curriculum was great, too. In LEAP, we read books such as The Princess Bride and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Overall, I have found my time at CVMS to be particularly exciting and enjoyable, and I hope that you will come to love it too. This school was a great choice for my kids coming from a rural town.One of the things i look for in a school is if it is outstanding in the Sports field.With three boys that love to play football,basketball,soccer,and run track this was the school for them.This year CVMS Wildcats won the district champion

This is my son's first year at CVMS. So far, we are very happy with the school. We haven't had any problems whatsoever. My son has some great teachers and he is progressing and excelling. My only complaint would be about the 'orientation' for the 5th graders and their parents. During those orientations,
... Read more the school discouraged the Pre-Ap program for kids unless they met a list of criteria. This list included current academic performance (grades) and also a list of personality characteristics. My son did not meet this criteria on things like responsibility and being proactive. but---we decided to sign him up for a couple pre-AP classes and he has done fine--straight A's so for. This is our 4th year having children at Creek Valley. Overall many of the teachers have been very nice, however, I find it is difficult to get a hold of them. The safety of the school has improved over the years. I have had dealings with athletics, orchestra and cheerleading.I feel the athletic department

I could see how the math TAKS for minority's are low. I received no welcome from the principal of the school. she did not speak to me as if I did not pay high taxes for my children to attend his neighbor school. I was warned by a mother of another african american soon to watch teachers they will see

And I am a great math teacher and Computer Engineer who would say her young son was turned off and depressed at the school. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
