14 Parent Reviews for Boerne High School

Boerne High School was at one time apparently a great school. However, when Sam Champion left, the school lost much. Even the best students are frustrated and cannot wait to leave! It's academics are not on par with other schools having similar economic and parental support. Check out the state statistics ...  Read more

Boerne is a really supercilious district. The school tries to supress anything that the parents or students have to say. They basically treat the students as if they are prisoners being held captive.

Boerne High School offers all the right classes and has all the right teachers. The sports are available to all types of athletes. I have had two sons graduate from BHS. Both received the grades and rankings that they deserved. It is the child's job to learn the material, not the teacher's job to spoon-feed ...  Read more

Looking back on my time spent at BHS I have realized that I didn't actually learn anything. They prepare you for standardized tests and college application essays, but not for real life.

Excellent community education. Fun learning environment. Wish this school could stay 'small town' forever.

Boerne is a great high school and they are very great at many sports. They always beat Alamo Heights High School, their rivals, at basketball and football (not always but most of the time). They have good academic scores too. I am glad that my son goes to boerne high school.

This school is the rival of Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas and they are both very excellent schools. Boerne HS is very athletically talented and has a state 'Recognized' school. They also have a great dance team.

Boerne High School is an exellent school. The curriculum is the best because the kids can take advanced courses to prepare for college.
