My second-grader was doing well at Bauer academically, and he had a good teacher, but we were disappointed in the fact that there was never a recess provided for kids to burn up some of their energy. ... Read more Kids need to play during the day for other reasons, too--they learn to interact with other socially. Also at Bauer, teachers also showed movies during P.E. and music classes, and PG-rated movies were shown to 2nd graders without parents' permission. More exercise (and fewer movies!) for young kids would be a good thing. I talked to the administration about these issues, but to no avail. Read less

I feel that my child was very lucky to get to go to Bauer. He is an extremely hyper child and frankly I worried that the teachers would have trouble with him. That has not been the case, I feel that his teachers work with him at all times and make sure that they keep him busy learning. I especially

Bauer School is the best school in Big Spring. They are more advanced then the other schools. I'm very glad that my kids go to Bauer. They won't struggle in goliad or high school. They are very good in all catagories.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
