In every way, Valley View is an exceptional school. The principal is a caring, nurturing educator who knows every student by name. Valley View Elementary School is a fairly small school (400 children) with a wonderful atmosphere. The principal is very friendly and responsive. Many of the staff have been teachers for over 20 years. They have an incredible gifted and talented program. We have been very pleased to have our daughters

... Read more a real dynamo and seems very hands-on and involved. The library is excellent, as run by Mrs. Iles, as is the GT program, run by Mrs. Beckley. The teachers are great communicators back to me, and I have regular contact with them regarding the progess of my children. They're very accessible and helpful, and I feel like we're definitely working as a team. There are lots of parent volunteers too, which always make for a better school. One of my favorite things is that they allow parents to come in a join kids for lunch. A+ to Valley View. Read less

A new list serve database has been implemented where we will be able to download important information such as the school's bulletin which will provide us with updates to a multitude of items immediately. Finally, she has instituted a new feature; a nighttime conference meeting by grade levels. A 'child-less event', we 'will learn more about your child's classroom expectations re/behavior, homework ...' It is our 'opportunity as a parent to ''sit in your child's seat.'' In addition, a very active and supportive Booster Club helps fund enrichment peograms at the school. Parent involvement is high and expected. This is a Private school education within a Public school setting. Students eventually attend Westlake High School: A Newsweek 'Top 100' High School in the nation. Advanced Placement
