I am not impressed with the upper level teachers. Of the entire staff, I'd say maybe 5 are good teachers and the rest are either burnt out or just don't care. Principal and Assistant are great though.

My daughter has been attending Palm since 1st grade....she had troube focusing and getting her work done....but I noticed 2 out of 3 teachers were very strick and scold childern in front of the class...I believe this lowers self esteem..

The front office personnel has poor people skills. I feel that parent involvement is discouraged unless the teacher wants you to do for them. This is my son's 3rd year at Palm. I didn't notice he couldn't read very well when he started Palm. It was brought to my attention by his 1st grade teacher Ms. Stause. She was great! She called me and told me that he needed help, and she made sure he got it. She told me about an after school program.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
