My daughter is now in second grade and she loves her school. Each of her teachers she has had have been great including the ones who teach music and arts/crafts/sience projects. Every morning all the children meet in assembly for announcements and other activities. We moved from our ranch to this subdivision

Overall a pretty good school academic wise, but daughter was new to the school at the beginning of the year, and no one assisted her with where to go, how to get lunch, and common procedures. Teacher hardly ever responds to e-mails from parents. Child claims that teachers are nice one day and very moody

It is a great school. They have a new outdoor classroom that is great for the kids. It has a massive field for after lunch with basketball courts,ect. It is two stories and the staff there is wonderful.

Our kindergarten teacher is very involved with her class and continually challenges them (simple spelling homework and tests, money recognition, simple math). We are comparing schools across states (Az - Tx) and have come to the realization that Lake Pointe compares favorable with all Phoenix schools.

We moved to Lake Pointe due to the LTISD reputation and were estatic when they built LPE, but after our children's experiences we are extremely unhappy and are trying to move out of the district. We are especially unhappy with the district's choice of school principal.

My daughter transferred to Lake Pointe Elem. from the neighboring highly acclaimed district (Eanes ISD). She was immediately welcomed by teachers with that special quality of 'positivity' & a real love of working with children. Their attitude of joy at being at this school was shared by the students.

The parents do an outstanding job of supporting students & staff, an extra advantage of the school being in the wonderful Lake Pointe neighborhood. Lake Pointe Elementary has kept my child challenged and interested. We transfered from a private school that did not have enough programs or resources to keep my child from getting bored. Lake Pointe has the staff and resources available to help my child learn in a fun, challenging and positive environment.

Advanced Placement
