When I did get information about events, it wasn't always correct and my children ended up missing events for no reason. I pulled both of my children out of the school and they will be attending elsewhere. I trust them daily & never worry about my child.Now, each homeroom teacher is different & if you have issues then move them early in the yr to avoid confusion. Don't wait to address any issues! Although, the administration & I ended on a very rocky note this yr, I still believe the principal is a real sweety pie & that he did so many wonderful things this yr from awards to programs.I would also give a 10/10 for safety & 10/10 for cleanliness. This public school stuff is a joke. They dont care about the children, they care about themselves and the TAKS exam....If you really want your child to become something other than mediocre then find a school that teaches for the children to learn and not to test. On another note, the kindergarten team is very good.One downside for the school is that during the lunchtime they put too much emphasis on silence instead of letting the children talk freely while they can outside of the classroom.Overall, the school is good & safety is always implemented before & during school hours on campus.As with any other school you have to find the best environment for your child to grow in academically.You may have to shuffle them as we did to a positive environment. I would not recommend this school for the first grade because if you have an issue with the teacher the principal and assistant principal with do everything to protect the teacher.Two children that were being screamed at daily had to be moved instead of the teacher being corrected.I would not send a

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
