My family has loved our time at Charlotte Anderson. Both kids have had wonderful teachers. The atmosphere isn't as friendly as it once was, but it still is a wonderful group of teachers. Mrs. Richardson is terrific and Mr. Cowman makes even the most uninterested child LOVE school!

This is our first year at CAE and it has been fantastic so far going into the winter break. My daughter is in 1st grade and has been doing exceptionally well and I think we owe a lot of it to her teacher. I'm glad there are alot of PTA and Dad Club events that take place and the pricipal is very involved

I personally didn't care for some of the extra attention they were giving to my child. Meaning they were a little to informative. They like to contact you for everything and sometimes that can be annoying.

Charlotte Anderson Elementary underwent a major change this last year. It blended two schools into one and became Title I. Parents that were leaving to go to Holt Elementary patted us on the back and acted like they felt sorry for us because we had to stay. Some parents moved their children to Holt because
... Read more they didn't want them at the Title I school that was supposedly going to struggle. Well, Charlotte Anderson did anything but struggle. The students, teachers, and parents rose to the occassion and achieved an exemplary status by TEA. The PTA programs were better than they ever have been. Parental support dropped slightly but we had a strong core of parents that worked their tails off. We expect to enlist more parental support next year. Charlotte Anderson has been on Texas Monthly's list of best schools in Texas for two years. CAE=best!! Read less

I have two children that attended Anderson by choice. Although the demographics changed significantly this year, the qualitiy of the education received did not. Teachers worked harder to meet all student needs dispite challenges with behavior issues. The PTA stepped up with new leadership and continued

Advanced Placement
