I moved to this school district May of last year and was enrolled in intermidiate. I was afraid to go to high school due to the size. But my first day everyone helped me. Principals were friendly and same with teachers. Angleton has an amazing drama department and should continue with it. I have learned

The school has a very rigorous curriculum with qualified teachers. Like many schools outside of a large city, the battles with eligibility for extracurriculars has been an issue. There is a tremendous hometown pride in Angleton and active community support.

I worried about my child when we moved to Angleton from a much larger school. Since we have been here, I am amazed at how great the school is. My son has excelled in his classes and talks often about how friendly his teachers are. I had to call the principal to ask a question and quickly got a returned

Very good school. My son's English and Art teachers are very caring and often check up on him outside of class. They want to make sure that he is doing well. My son feels much safer at this school than he did when he was in junior high in another district.

Angleton is a good school. It has several extra caricular activities, and tons of clubs. It will allow your kids to branch out and try new things. There are lots of great teachers. Shanese Baldridge-I used to attend AHS and feel as of it's a very good school. Iliked all the staff and students and felt as if everyone was treated fairly. AHS has very good athletic prgrams, teachers, coaches, and classroom lectures. I really did enjoy attending AHS!

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
