We moved our child from the Maryville City School system to MCS this year. What a refreshing change! Despite all the hype about Maryville City Schools, he was actually behind in some areas. We have been blown away by the individual attention and interest shown by all of his teachers and the school

Before, we were teaching him each night what the public school teachers were unable to cover in their over-crowded and regulated classrooms. Grades are posted immediately on-line and his teachers actually contact us to discuss his progress. The homework load is reasonable now and expectations are clear. The other students have been friendly and welcoming. Every student has an opportunity to play various sports and the music program is great. I am an alumni of Maryville Christian. I graduated in 2007 and I was accepted to EVERY college I applied to. I received scholarships for academics, leadership, Christian character, and athletics. I learned so much about my faith and how to defend it at MCS that I could never show my gratitude enough.

The faculty and student body are some of the greatest people I've ever known and to this day I still talk to and hang out my friends and the staff of MCS. The bonds I made there will never be broken and I thank God for my time there. I wish I could be 17 again to enjoy just a little more time at MCS. Read less

I think that the comments below are from parents that care nothing about christianity in their children's lives.
