I have two children who attend this school also. It has been one problem after another. The teachers and other members of the staff are wonderful. I wish I could say the same thing about the principal. If you take the principal out of the equation, you have a descent school. Until that happens,

i appreciate the fact that it is a small school where children can get the most attention when needed.i think they have an amazing principal and teachers. i am very happy with all interactions i have had with the staff. i do think the gym coach should be proactive instead of reactive as he told our son

I have two children attending WV school. I am very pleased with the overall levels of the school. There is only one thing that I have found that I am don't like very well. My son is in third grade and his teacher sends so much homework home with him. He is usually up until 10 or 11:00 at night trying

to get homework done. And he starts on it in afterschool and then back on it as soon as he gets home. I know they may have to do some homework but taking to 10-11:00 to get it done is a little bit much. I attened this school when I was a child, and from then to now, I can tell a big improvement in the school with the academic programs and overall leadership. Thanks and keep up the good work! My children have attended school here since 2002. I am just glad that the present school year will be my 8th graders last. My son will be moving to another school at the start of the new scool year. While mostly satisfied with the teachers,{ Mrs. Wolf, Mrs. Loyd and Mrs.Painter are wonderful}the administration

here leaves alot to be desired. Students need a principal who is more concerned with the students than with his self image. My children have endured endless bullying and harrassment and nothing is ever done. No matter what I say or do. We now basically just try to get through the days one by one, week by week.I am not knocking the teachers or other personnel, but until there is better leadership at WV School, I wouldn't reccommend it to anyone!
