My child is going into 8th grade. Our experience has been dull really. I do want to say that Mr. Shell really had an impact on my child in 6th grade and has to be one of the best teachers my child has had. The food is not so bad. The teachers, of which they have added many new and gotten rid of some ...  Read more

I have had two children attend school at CMS. The academics are ok but the athletic dept. is pitiful. The school has not got the same focus and preperation for high school sports that other institutions have.I will send my third child else where.I also think school uniforms would do this school a great ...  Read more

I have two children at CMS. When their grades have been low, we have requested additional homework for extra credit. Almost all of the teachers REFUSE to give it. There is next to no communication from the Principal's office regarding school events or policies, other than at the begining of the school ...  Read more

I am a sutdent at cms. I am in a large class of about 28. I love how the teachers interact with us. The teach hands on. The teacher i found to be most delighting is mrs.Stevenson. She always explains and is always ready to help a student in need.

My daughter was in 7th grade last year after moving from another state, we found this school to be very good, she gained high grades and the teachers were always happy to meet with us to inform us of her progress, she was also in band and the band program was great. I would recommend this school.

Teachers are great! The only reason the school is in bad shape is because it is 100 years old.

Well, actually, I am a student at this school. And its true that some teachers assign extra homework, but its usually because of bad behavior and as a student, ill admit that it is an effective way for students to calm down. The teachers I've noticed especially, because of their unique teaching styles, ...  Read more

My son is in his last year at CMS, thank God. It seems that they have forgotten why they became teachers to start with. Maybe they need training to recognize burnout on the job. I have not received any kind of information from teachers this year to know how my son is really doing. I get the mid term ...  Read more
