I went daniel boone 2 years ago, and my experience was terrible. The clicks are terrible, the teachers overlook alot of situtions, and there is not enough room to hold the student population. The halls are so crowed and the classes look nasty.

As a former student and the parent of a present-day sophomore, I have to say the school has improved greatly in 20 years. I agree somewhat with many other postings. The education received depends greatly on the student and parents. The student needs a stable home life where the parents are interested ...  Read more

In my opinion this teacher needs to return to elementary school to teach, which is where she came from. She seems to be treating her high school students as though ...  Read more

There are a few outstanding teachers at D.B. Most of them taught my children well and they had some tearful moments at their graduations. As with most high schools, they are a bit obsessed with sports (Tho not as much as Science Hill) but they do include a large variety of other programs. Every ...  Read more

Please don't pay attention to ignorant reviews talking about 'beating' children (this would NEVER happen at Boone) or teachers being there for the money because that is not the case (they really are UNDERpaid, especially great teachers like Mrs. White, Ms. Carey, 'Madame' Carter, Coach Taylor, Mr. King, ...  Read more

My daughter will be a senior this coming school year. The faculty's number one priority is the students and I believe that to be the most important thing about a school. Test scores for the last school year were very high. Daniel Boone does not have a lot of money, but it is a wonderful school.
