I student taught at St. Benedict during the spring of 2005 which was during the first year that the school occupied its new and present space. I'm a little surprised by some of the low ratings I see. My daughter is in 9th grade and we could not be more pleased. The teachers are commited to helping her achieve her goals. The principal is great and has an ear for every concern.

I currently attend SBA and believe that they should review their teachers more in depth. I find a few teachers to be overly pretentious and very condescending to students. It makes for a stressful situation and makes it more difficult to learn.

My children go to St. Francis of Assisi. I have only positive things to say about this school. The children receive an excellent education in a caring and nurturing environment. I recently graduated and I only have one word to describe this school: unorganized. The classes were, as a whole, almost worthless. Has the feel of a small school socially but inturn has the same or better recources as any larger high school. The school changed me for the better in less than one year and I will forever be grateful.

SFA is great! Our son has soared and been challenged in every grade level for the past four years. The teachers all know my son on an individual level and communicate with us on a consistent basis before there is a problem. The Plus Program for ADD students is terrible. The curriculum is the same but they just separate them into smaller classes, but not all the classes are Plus. My kid almost failed in this program. The principal ignores your concerns. Save your money.

My child is currently enrolled at St Francis and is in the plus program. It is great to have a program that gives individualized attention, however his standardized test scores have been declining. I am not really sure this is the best and am considering changing schools.
