They are very involved in their community and they recently raised over $10,000.00 to assist a student at CMS who was in a tragic accident and in need of a new wheelchair. I have had both the public and private school experience and CMS is better than any school we have attended thus far. They have worked hard to continue to improve TCAP scores and promote teacher education. They are doing a wonderful job! Read less

* In 2007-2008 Tennessee used the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) Achievement Test to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading/language arts, math, science and social studies, and in grades 5 and 8 in writing. The results for reading/language arts and math are displayed on GreatSchool profiles. The results are for all grades combined for each subject and reflect the performance of students enrolled for the full academic year. The TCAP is a standards-based test that measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Tennessee. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
