Very Good School, but too much politics play a part in the overall scope of the schools. The Director of the Hickman County Schools is not a good leader, he allows politics to take a part in all his decisions in the Schools,this does not and he should not represent/reflect the good people in the County. ...  Read more

Hickman co high school is a wonderful school and it has grate teachers. and one of the highest number of grads in tn. most of the teachers are very willing to work with the parents. I am proud to have my children in the hickman co school system.

The greatest thing about this school is the students' involvement with the other students. Seeing the mass of students support all sports from football and basketball, to sports such as tennis and softball.

* In 2007-2008 Tennessee used the Gateway/End-of-Course (EOC) exams to test high school students in language arts, math, science and social studies upon completion of relevant courses. The results for algebra I and English 2 are displayed on GreatSchool profiles. The scores reflect the performance of students enrolled for the full academic year. Students must pass the algebra I, English 2 and biology I tests, called the Gateway exams, in order to graduate. The Gateway/EOC exams are standards-based tests that measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined by the state of Tennessee. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
