We are an active duty military family & I work in the public schools and MVCA is the best in the CSRA! Small class sizes, teachers who go above & beyond to accommodate students' needs, and a focus on Biblical views!
Posted by a parent on 11/12/2020I would highly recommend this school to any parents who desire for their children a strong academic program that is built on a solid Christian foundation. From pre-school to 6th grade (just added this year), the teachers and staff have shown that they care about my children like they are family. The high test scores and academic performance of my children and other students are evidence of the high quality education provided. The low student : teacher ratio allows students to receive individualized attention that is simply not possible in public schools. This is a great (and safe) learning environment, where students are respectful of teachers and one another. I have never had to be concerned about my children's physical, spiritual, or mental wellbeing. They thrive in this environment and I would love to see the school continue to grow to become a PK-12 school! Check out MVCA...you will NOT be disappointed!
Posted by a parent on 1/13/2015My husband and I have four children at MVCA & Daycare, and they have been there for one year how (Infants, Two's/Three's, 4K/5K, and 1st Grade). The 5K teacher is phenomenal, and the other staff are great too. We love that the campus is well taken care of and although it is located on Highway 1, it is a good distance from the road and we feel our children are very safe. The doors are coded which restricts outside entry as well. The curriculum is challenging and the environment loving and nurturing. We plan to keep our children at MVCA as long as we can and would recommend this school to other parents who want peace of mind while they are at work.
Posted by a parent on 1/6/2012My son has been attending the academy since he was 3 years old. We were on the waiting list for 18 months but it was worth the wait. He is now in 1st grade and has learned so much. He is currently reading on a 2.6 grade level and it's only the beginning of the school year! I love the christian environment and the small class size. I only wish the academics were up to a least 8th grade. :( I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is searching for an excellent place of learning.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIts not supportive of kids wellbeing they don't support the kids in they concepts. They don't believe in the kids of change.They believe in first impressions as all they supported.They treat kids like they are troubled without even given them a chance its all gossip and treating kids as low as 4year olds to believe they are slow and not a chance of them dealing with it. Straight responce is treatments and medicine and they are ready to expell a kid without giving the child a supportive chance at least find out if the kid is troubling or wat could of been going on at home or visiting tne kids in the hospital at least call and ask. They tell otber parents each pther kids problem and stary unnecessarily trouble amonst the parents. The Teachers are not payient short tempered and greatly in need of retirement. The truth out its not even safe kids are 5 and six and having to get parents out of bed if they old or sick to walk kids who live over the mileage to walk not mentioning they should send buses to the area regardless of tbe miles if its in zone pick them up stray animals and the homeless are out in children route to and from abd harassing the kids it horrible and not in the respective of the safety first rules.
