My five year old son attends pre-k. I am constantly amazed at the level of growth he displays daily. His class has eleven other students and they all get maximum attention from two very dedicated and extremely talented teachers. ... Read more day. His academic and social growth is evident. The teachers also stress good behaviour and it shows at home. My son always tells me how proud he is to be recognized for good behaviour. Lots of music, arts and crafts and sports programs as well. My son played soccer on the St. Anne's team this year. I have true peace of mind knowing that the faculty and St. Anne's community cares so much about my young son. I love this school! Read less

Twelve years ago we discovered the St Anne School. We knew immediately this was where we wanted to send our daughter. She has since graduated and has continued her education at St. Francis Xavier. The foundation she received has been instrumental in her success in high school and now her acceptance
... Read more at every college she applied to. There was no question as to where our son would attend. The safe Christian based atmosphere is beyond compare. Another great asset is the student teacher ratio. The children get constant one on one attention. We also love that our children receive religious education. They not only learn respect for God but for their fellow student and a respect for adults. The wearing of uniforms adds to the positive learning environment. We transferred our kids to St Anne from another private school in Sumter. The academics are far superior, the staff is much more involved, and the school really is a community. Great School!

I attended public schools growing up and at times found some of the teacher's styles to be below par. This is not the case at Saint Anne. The teachers definitely care about their students and their advancement. I am a former law enforcement officer with experience in security and investigations as well. ... Read more our childrens education. The core academics have been excellent and we feel confident they will prove to be very well prepared when we move to our next assignment. The extra-curricular activities have proven to be outstanding. The music program rivals many larger schools in much larger cities. The amazing results that she gets with only 185 children is remarkable along with the opportunities she finds for them to get performace experience. No school is perfect, Saint Anne does and outstanding job of striving for the children to feel Christ's presence in every classroom. Read less

St Anne has small classrooms, an extremely qualfied and caring faculty, and a rigorous academic environment. St Anne is a Catholic school, and takes the importance of instilling Christian virItue seriously. It is a small school--so some of the programs one might find in public schools for learning
... Read more challenged students are not available--but its cheerleading, mock trial and soccer programs are excellent. Some students can play varsity sports at the local Catholic HS. Its smallness creates a sense of family and responsiveness from faculty, administration and pastor absent in most other schools. This past year, a number of physical upgrades have beautifed the campus and helped create a warmer atmosphere. Not really sure where some of the more negative comments are coming from--but if you are looking for a safe, loving and quality atmosphere for your child to receive a Catholic education, send them to St Anne. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
