Both of my children have attended LCMS, a girl and a boy. Single gender classes with teachers trained on how to reach their audience has been key in helping my children do well in middle school. Disappointing. Extra curricular activities only parent-led...if youre a stay at home mom and want to hang out at school - good. Otherwise, too high expectation on parents' time and money. Working parents - not the school for you unless you like to be hounded and shunned if you don't give $$

My daughter is just midway through her 2nd year at Langston. We couldn't be more pleased with this school. Classes are separated by gender and the teachers are trained to teach boys in ways appropriate for the male brain, and girls in ways appropriate for the female brain.
