I am a current student. And well involved in activities. The new princliple is fantastic and talks to students and walks around and into classrooms. Now being a senior at Stratford High, I must say I have learned quite a lot. However, what I have learned has not been from teachers, administration, or guidance. It has been from my peers, my best friends, my enemies, and my experiences from the school. I have learned about myself and acquired much

They seem to have no appreciation or respect for us, but instead bash us on our 'our society has become worse and worse as the years go by.' Do I really want to arrive at school every morning knowing I am walking into a classroom and will receive no respect? NO. Honestly, I have hated Stratford since the second I was a freshman. Read less

I have had two students graduate from Stratford High. One under the old administration and one under the new administration. As a parent of a band student I can assure nonband parents that band or the arts are not high on the schools or Berkeley counties fund list. For my child to be in marching band we have to pay 500.00 a year for their fair share. Most of the money we raise is from fund raiser's and the concession stand

Any high school in this state comes with it's fair share of downfalls. Stratford certainly has issues with funding all the activities it likes to host as well as keeping the interest of both the high-achieving students and the students with disabilities in mind. They could use more funding for sports
