My daughter has had the priviledge of attending Thomas Sumter Academy since she was three years old and Lord willing, will attend until she graduates, in seven years. There is no place I would rather send my child. The teachers are loving, caring, and teach their classes very well. The Head of School

How amazing is it that the Head of School knows who my daughter is and calls her by name? Sure, there have been a few bumps in the road. That's everywhere and the only reason people make a big deal about them is because the school is HONEST with it's parents! (If you don't think it's everywhere you are sorely mistaken.) I'd much rather have that than have no idea what's going on. Go Generals!! Read less

I do volunteer work at the school and see this first hand. They also have an excellent athletic program where your child is encouraged to do his very best - win or lose - they are taught to walk away with their heads held high and proud of their efforts made playing the best game they could. I would recommend TSA to parents whose goals for their child is a well rounded education in a loving environment. Read less

The school has sadly gone down hill. There have only been 2 decent headmasters in the past 15 years; at least 1 remains a High School teacher there. I have had 2 children graduate there and have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years for a barely average education. Future parents and
