Lake Carolina has been wonderful for my children. I commend Team LCE for their ability to identify children who are falling behind and help them to get back on track. Two of my own children with learning issues were identified early on by Lake Carolina's team of teachers - in one case even before I knew something was wrong. Team LCE worked diligently to get my children where they needed to be to achieve success. LCE's success is quite evident in the national and state recognitions it has been awarded. Read less

We just moved here from Texas and I thought the school my kids were going to was pretty good. Boy was I wrong. School has started and I can't say enough about the way LCE treats my children. There is positive reinforcement, wind chimes instead of yelling, smiling teachers and staff. LCE is so organized
... Read more that they took my son's test scores from his gifted program and converted them into computer generated copies so they could be used to qualify him to the Alert program. Yes Richland District 2 went above and beyond for my son. They even called me at home to give be the good news. My children love there teachers and finally love to go to school. I am informed of everything that happens at the school by newsletters, phone calls and e-mails. My daughter says the cafeteria food is better here too. Read less

LCE has been great to my 1st and 3rd grader. It is failing my 5th grader on the other hand. I believe that this school is so focused on making sure their test scores are high, they forget about the child who struggles daily. They do offer tutoring, for those kids whose 'test' score reflect they need

Lake Carolina has been a God send for my children! We entered the school at below level averages in reading and mathemathics, but in the year we've been there, my son and daughter have both jumped multiple levels in a very short period of time. The PTO is incredible, the staff is amazing, I stay well

My children have attended Lake Carolina Elementary for almost four years. It is a wonderful school. The principal is really great. She keeps the school running smoothly and cares so much about all of the students. She is always available if parents need to talk about any concerns they may have.

Advanced Placement
