The Goddard School - Quakertown

My daughter is 8 and still talks of her experience at this school. Some are inexperienced teachers who would make sarcastic comments assuming my daughter would not understand and would not bother to make her feel comfortable with the other kids. Their method of teaching is learn through play. Which does not work and my daughter did not learn much between the method they followed and the lack of comfort and confidence she had in her "teachers". I would never recommend sending your child here and it was also very expensive as well.

“I love the curriculum of the pre-K program with Kindergarten readiness in mind. The emphasis on letter sounds is very important at that age and Goddard does a great job in this area. Also, the academics are balanced out nicely with very creative and fun crafts.”

I have nothing but great things to say about the Goddard School of Quakertown. Being a teacher myself, I appreciate what Goddard does to instill the sense of "school" for our daughters rather than providing "daycare" services. The curriculum challenges them and allows them to explore their individual strengths and talents. I enjoy reading their detailed daily report and asking them about their school day. The facilities are kept clean and updated, and the "homey" feel throughout the school is comforting. The entire staff at the Goddard School is caring, friendly and child-centered. The most important aspect to us is to know that our girls are loved. That is more than evident in the kindness their teachers show, the friendly smiles and greetings from the owner and director, and talks daily with their teachers. Thank you for taking such great care of our girls and helping them learn, grow, and laugh! I wouldn't send my daughters anywhere else!

incompetent staff and not empathic. Not impressed. Look elsewhere, especially for all the money you're paying.

I have had nothing but a positive experience here. I don't know what the othe person is talking about. I have been here for over 7 years and have never seen any of those things! My children LOVE their teachers and don't want to come home half the time! We are proud to be at this school and fortunate to have found it!
