Read what parents are saying about Assumption Bvm SchoolAssumption BVM is an excellent school and gets better and better each year. The rumors of its closure have only strengthened the commitment of parents and teachers alike. Sr. Patricia is constantly trying to improve the school and keep up with the technology of the surrounding public schools...and she is succeeding! Computer lab, science lab, smart boards...Assumption has it all! My two children love Assumption and I wouldn't consider sending them anywhere else.
Posted by a parent on 3/31/2010Assumption is a great community school, lots of parent involvement and teacher commitment. My 2 oldest attended many years ago and now my youngest is attending. The school has only gotten better. I'm very glad I made this choice, and am proud of my children's education.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 3 children at Breezy Point and we have been there for 4 years so far. My children attend both the school and the camp and have gained so much from both experiences. My Kindergartner is thrilled that she has begun to read and write. The curriculum is excellent and the teachers are very positive and professional. She loves all of the outdoor activities that BP has to offer. Last year she went sledding on the big hills when it snowed. She also loved planting her pumpkin seeds in the "Children's Garden", taking care of her plants and watching them grow over the school year! My preKindergartner is printing his letters, enjoying tennis, and loves all of the different playgrounds there are to walk to. His favorite outdoor activity there is "Crazy Cars", a little race track designated for cars, big wheels and bikes. My three year old is learning Spanish, the months of the year, and how to respect her friends. She loves "Breezy Town", a little child sized town. The fire station, the post office and Aunt El's bed and breakfast are her favorites! The teachers are exceptional. My children are safe, happy, and well taken care of. It is a wonderful school!Parent Review12y ago - Community Christian Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've been with this school since 2018 and have 2 children there. Our kids have excelled at this school in their montessori program so much so that we've continued their education through 1st grade. It does cost more than many daycares, but it is truly a school in that it has specific educational goals, a curriculum designed to reach those goals, and incredibly talented staff with strong backgrounds in education. The facility is nice and well maintained, with all of the materials you'd expect for montessori education. Beyond the day to day education, there are many extracurriculars they have offered through the years, such as french, art, ceramics, music, science/STEM, chess, and soccer among others. These programs have varied throughout the years, but are often offered during the school day at no additional cost. Pre-covid they often did field trips as well.We have had minor issues with other students and even had discipline problems with our own kids. The staff have always approached these situations with care and compassion, with a focus on emotional development and educating the children on soft skills like coping with their emotions, handling conflicts, and caring for their friends and their environment. The biggest challenge we've noticed is the school has had some struggles with staffing, mostly in the front office and administration. They've been good with retaining teachers for many years and handled the transition of teachers retiring very well. But they have experienced struggles and staffing issues during the pandemic as i believe many schools have. We also weren't thrilled with the decision to require uniforms starting 2022, but ultimately decided to grin and bear it because we love the education our kids are getting there. We looked at many other options in the area with our second choice being the Malvern school. I couldnt be happier with the decision we've made and the results theyve achieved with our kids. Highly recommend this school.Parent Review2y ago - Neshaminy Valley Montessori School
