I credit this accomplishment to the one-on-one relationships that the students have with the teachers. A very desirable scenario, to say the least. we recently switched from a nearby public school. I've seen amazing changes within the first week. The academics are ahead and my daughter is much happier to go to school. I feel that switching to evangel heights is the best decision we could have made for our childrens education.

Evangel Heights Christian Academy has met and exceeded my expectations. I was first impressed with this school when I attended a graduation ceremony. ... Read more eduacation, or military. I enrolled my child who was in public school and the difference was amazing. They concentrate on the child, not the test scores that give them grant money as public school often do. Instead of shouting and arguing, our PTG meetings open in prayer with cooperation to do all things through Christ who strenthens us. I feel that my children are safe, and in an uplifting learning environment. And the communication between parent and teacher is unparalleled! I'm so greatful to be a part of this school. Evangel Heights is a school in which each student is valued highly and each indivual's problems are recognized. The students in the middle school and high school are treated as young adults and are not treated like a number. Christ is involved in each and every class, and discussions are held in Bible

Due to such parental and administrative involvement the students are held at a higher account, and students are permitted(with teacher approval and hallpass) to do certain activies outside on the school grounds(with adult supervision). With this trust the schooling is not treated as being locked in a building but learning and expanding knowledge. There are also many extracurricular activites. The main ones being drama, chorus, and athletics. I greatly recommend for parents that are searching for a good christian education to enroll their children in Evangel Heights. Read less

I am a student in 9th grade, an we always have locked doors, the administrator never changes the rules for anyone, and we have excellent teachers. On the safty issue, our principal expelled a student, for having drugs in his backpack, and he did that so we would not be around bad influences. Last, we are based on frienships. Poor safety for students, no locked doors or security alarms. Students can leave the building at will. Academics do not prepare students for college or other post-secondary education. Classes contain students from different grade levels due to small enrollment in upper grades. Adminstrator and school

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
