Our family has been at portersville for the past 9 years, and we curently have 4 kids at the school in grades K,3,7,9. We have had a wonderful experience at PCS through the years with a great academics, a very good sports program, and teachers who really care about the kids.We also have a fantastic fine

Very impressed with the way the faculty invests themselves in the children. Our kids have had a great experience there and we feel they are ahead of their friends in public school. We are also very happy with the spiritual growth of our kids and the way they start their class with prayer, scripture

This is a well established school with a great facility and a great staff. The staff really have the students interests at heart and are committed to truly teaching them in a loving and caring manner. Busing is provided in-house which for us was a plus for us over the last Christian school we were at which provide busing through the public achool system. Also their fine arts program is well developed and thriving, competing against public schools ten times their size. Overall, this is a fine school which strives to the highest standards. Our graduating seniors are consistenly scoring high on SAT's and continuing their education in many fine universities throughout the US. We have exceptional high school sports and a strong fine arts program. The reviewer that statese they had a bad experience, had to have been here prior to the past 3 years. PCS is great! We consider it a privelage for our son and daughter to attend. Praise God for such a strong Christian Private School! Read less

My children attended this school for 7 years. Our experience with the teachers and staff is that they are committed Christians with a willingness to serve the Lord. This school does not offer a lot of sports and extracurricular activities, and what they do offer is pretty nill. We moved our children
... Read more to public school because there were more opportunities for sports/band/socially and we also feel that PCS was becoming too much of a 'private' school verses a 'Christian' school. The high school has limited spiritual emphasis; my children came to know the Lord through their Youth Group rather than their education at PCS. If you are looking for a quality Christian education at the elementary level - PCS is for you. If you are looking for a spiritually emphasized, 'on fire for the Lord' experience for you high schooler, then unfortunately, PCS is not for you. May God bless PCS. Read less

PCS is an exceptional school. We transferrred from another local private school and have seen quite a difference in academics, as well as, the Christian environment. Our daughter quickly made friends and the teachers are superb. The past 3 years our graduating seniors have scored the highest on SATs

Don't let the distance of Portersville keep you from checking out our school. It's not as far as you think, and its worth every mile to have the privelage of attending there! Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
