My child has been a student at Wynnefield Academy for four years. She has tested two levels above grade level in reading. I am very pleased with the academics at the academy. I will miss the school however will continue to have her to sing all three verses of the Black National Athem that she learned

The academic program is excellent.Homework seem alot in the very beginning, However as time go on children learn the process. My child can compete with others. The tuition is very low. In fact I paid much more for preschool.

My child attended this school for 3 years and needless to say they are not equipped to run in the 21st century The building has not been upgraded since they opened, and they don't have any real administrative staff. Everything is last minute notice with them. Overall the academics is pretty good, but

As a long time supporter and fan of this school, I am disappointed to say the quality and safety have diminished drastically. This is my child's first year at Wynnefield, and as a parent I'm very dissatisfied with the school on a whole. The lack of communication bothers me terribly. There has not been a Spanish teacher all year and the music teacher has quit. The school has nothing to offer as far a extra curricular activities
... Read more nor are they trying to rectify the problem. They stop you at the door as if it were a prison. Financially I just cant see where the money is going, the building hasn't been updated in years, the bathrooms are horrible, the cubicals are extremely small. My son has attended this school since the age of 1 years old. He has learned a lot and is very smart for his age. My son is still currently attending Wynnefield, but I am actively looking for another school for my son. The education at this school is good, but we are looking for a variety for our son. My child has attended this school for 3 years and he has learned alot to only be 5 years old. My child is learning on a 1st grade level in kindergarten. He knows spanish and know how to read a book fron cover to cover. He's been here since the age of 2 and i think that it's amazing how much he has progressed.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course.
