My daughter is now in the first grade and this is her second year at Woodbine. The atmoshere and the teachers encourage children to do thier best. Compared to parents whose children are in public school stories, everything we have to deal with at Woodbine is rather mild. They do need to update the exterior,
... Read more replace the computers/books, and become more technological (a voicemail, website, and computer classes to name a few things). The tuition does not cover books, fees, or trips which can be very expensive.The class ratio is so low that my daughter probably wouldn't thrive in a overcrowded public school. The kids go to the Settlement Music School for music and the YMCA for gym. I think it is a well rounded program and will keep my children there as long as I can afford it. Read less

The student-body for the most part always seems upbeat and ready to learn!...Something that is totally lacking in most public schools. Yes, the outer appears can use a little touch-up. Most importantly, is the comfort in wanting to attend, and the desire to listen and learn...That's what I see in my child. ... Read more school year, to help culture young children's minds. Teacher (ms. Hawk) appears very dedicated to her profession. Minimal complaints as far as the administration...No advanced notification during latest snow fall is my only gripe! outside appearance could use a little touch up! but, what's inside (the classroom) is what's most important! And, that's where I see the 'strive for excellence' instilled into the young children's mind. Too many positives out weigh the very few negatives with this school. I have two children attending Woodbine Academy. I am very satisfied with the academics my 3 yrs is learned how to identify numbers and Capital and lower case letters . My 6yrs know the basic in Spanish. This school has taken 2 trip since they start in Sept. They also offer karate, swimming and Music.
... Read more The only thing is I really think they need some remodeling the building and they should have a better school yard with swings and slides. It seems if they not update they should have a website and updated brochures. When they do that they will be a perfect school. My kids are upset when its no school that how much they love learning at this school. Read less

Acdemics are poor as materials used are too old. Poor communication from adminstration and teachers. Parental involvement is not respected. Parents concerns and questions are met with a biased ear as they do not with to have thier methods questioned. My daughter attended and I was extremely disappointed

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Before/After School
