Safety and discipline are real strong! Students ere uniforms and there is a strict code for cutting.

I had a very disturbing experience about this school. staffs are disoriented, they eye service, i feel a sense of separation. some of the staffs put the laws into their hands, & want 2 decide for u which school suites or what kind of education your child should get. they seems not to want certain ethnics ...  Read more

My oldest child went to Washington and needless to say that it is not the same school I graduated from 20 years ago. Its a little bit more rowdy but the teachers are still good. It has great extra-curricular activities and Great programs. I would say the parents are pretty involved.

If your child is in the IB program or at least some of the higher level classes, you need not worry. The education they will recieve is incredible. It is unfortunate that the previous writer had such a bad experience, but her comments do not reflect the school today. Washington is a completely different school than it was even three years ago. It's calm and tries to meet student's needs.

As a graduate of semi graduate of GWHS parents know nothing of what goes on behind those school walls. As of a few years Washington started taking in any student and it didn't matter what there grades or behaivor looked like. And now the school has gone to hell.
