The teachers at PCA are wonderful and the transition has been great for both of the boys. My daughter is a recent graduate of PCA and proved to be very well-prepared for high school - honors classes! ... Read more a 'peaceful, loving and kind' atmosphere, where children are taught to mediate conflicts according to biblical principles. Profanity is not tolerated; uniforms are required. Families who enroll their children at PCA immediately become part of a loving and supportive community of believers. ... Read more believe that this sometimes can present a sense of insensitivity in certain areas for some children. I believe that this allows us as parents to look at the heart of people and not to be so quick to judge. PCA instill strong foundations in the area of math, reading and scripture in the primary grades.PCA promotes leadership qualities and allows the children to have confidence in themselves. I have found that parents are very supportive in all activites and events, but not much in attending the meetings. PCA is where we hope to stay for the next 7 years. Read less

... Read more to the ratios in the enrolled population (eg. 42% students of color, but not 42% of the teachers are of color, or 38% male students but not 38% of the teachers are male). Upon further review, a bias and perhaps even a subconcsious prejudice can be inferred from teaching and grading methods and matriculation rates when contrasting males to females and different ethnic groups. I believe majority females will do better than all others at PCA. Read less

The academic curricular is of high standards. They are lacking in the area of extra curricular activities. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
