10 Parent Reviews for Laurel Valley Middle High School

A a former laurel valley middle/high student i would like to say in complete honesty that this school is horrible. I chose to transfer for a better education. Teachers are more like friends. They make it fun, but minimal teaching is done. They just want to get us graduated and out of their hair. Don't get me wrong, there are a few good teachers that know what their doing, but that's it. Discipline isn't taught well. If you are looking into going to another ...  Read more

I was a student at LV in 7th grade. When I was there I did not like it that much. When you needed helo form the teachers, they seemed to only want to help the students that were doing well in classes, and when someone was causing problems they did not do too much about it.

I am a student at LV. although the classes are small i dont believe students get any better education than a larger school. i moved to Lv when i was in 9th grade and i came from a much larger school. I like my former school much better there was way more involvment there.

I was a student in L.V. for 2 years, my 8th and 9th grade years. I liked the school for the fact that there were not a lot of kids so that everyone knew everyone else. I don't like big schools.

The School cannot take the entire blame for poor scores on the State Assessment Tests. I have a daughter that graduated from LV and my son is now a Senior. I have found out from my son that if he had applied himself on the day the tests were given, he would have done better, but he didn't think the ...  Read more

I used to be a student at LV. I remember our school scoring very highly on various tests. Now, it looks like the school is not doing well. As a parent, I believe that I would not choose this school for my children. I was once a very strong supporter of LV, being a cheerleader and in the Student Council ...  Read more
