This year is my daughter's second year at BCCDS. She loves school and it amazes me how much she has learned. The school's hands-on approach to learning is unique, fun and the best I've ever seen. I couldn't be prouder of my decision to send her to this phenomenal school!

BCCDS was the worst school I have ever attended. I've attended 5 different schools, BCCDS being my longest stay. The building itself has obvious issues that never seem to be focused on. ... Read more building. The school is so consumed with showy intelligence that emotional issues are often pushed aside for acedemics, or adressed in the wrong way if addressed at all. For some students the quick paced program works beautifully. For others not so fortunate, teachers are very discouraging and the obvious intellectual seperation can also be very unmotivating for the learning child. Pushing a student to do their best is great, but BCCDS pushes some of their students to the point of humiliation rather than success. I left BCCDS for various reasons. Bucks County Country Day School has been an absolute utopia for my 2 children. The class sizes are 15 children or less. The curriculum challanges my children and makes them work to their potential. The school has a phenominal music program and my youngest child takes private voice lessons and piano
... Read more lessons during the school day. My older daughter who is into sports was provided the opportunity to play team sports when she became a 5th grader. Also, the art teacher uses all kinds of mediums to teach art and really expands my children's love of art. My girls have learned spanish as a second language from the great and enthusiastic spanish teacher. The parent group is very strong here and comprised of parents that really care about their children's education. I can't imagine sending my children anywhere else. Read less

He has been in other schools previously that did not use this method of teaching and he was always in the principle's office. Advanced Placement
