So far, I am very happy with the education my son is receiving at Corpus Christi. Mrs. Pomrink is an amazing teacher and makes his experience fun and engaging. He often sings songs he learned in class when he gets in the car after school! She writes personal notes to many parents to remind us of upcoming

The ability to stay involved as a parent is important to me, and we are frequently provided with opportunities to participate in the school. Plus, my son really enjoys the after school program Kidview, available there. Read less

You can tell by the parental battle in the reviews this isn't a great school. Certainly not healthy for children to be in the crossfire. All of this stems from the poor leadership. It is a demogogue with dissodant leaders (both Administrative and Parental). If you want a healthy, constructive environment

I was reading the last review stating no one from Maria Goretti has enrolled in Corpus Christi. This simply is False! This school has soap in every bathroom- and hand dryers not paper towels- I am not sure where the information of the teachers has come from but in the 7 years I have been at corpus The
... Read more teachers have been nothing but kind, well prepared, informative and give the students a solid stepping stone for their future. Corpus has Smartboards in every classroom except for 2. In which they are to be installed this summer. Seven teachers took a week long class this summer and now have I-Pads for classroom use. And yes we do not have bleachers- not sure how that matters with education? The lunch aids are not elderly- they are mature. These wonderful aids help the teacher on duty take careful care and watch of the students during their lunch period. They help the younger students open their water bottles and such but never cough on them. I am not sure why you would need a microwave when we have North Penn hot lunches. Same as public schools. Could you imagine if 50 students wanted to get their lunch heated up? What school does that.....none. Corpus Christi is awesome! Read less

The fact that not one student from Maria Goretti enrolled in the school says it all. A school without soap, paper towels, modern tech. or a cafeteria. A gym without bleachers! Teachers with eratic mood swings or ones lacking passion. Elderly lunch helpers that touch or cough over the students' lunches.

But for a handful of teachers and some "normal" kids & parents Corpus Christi is populated by bullies & families with freakishly large egos. Much of the work is student-driven. If your kid excels & doesn't get in trouble they will not be recognized. If you volunteer your kid can vandalize the school & earn awards. Steer clear if you have a low tolerance for baloney. An excellent school with a tremendous amount of support from parents. Every day they are in there helping out and volunteering. Kids have great values and are a pleasure to coach. The academic proof is in the Blue Ribbon designation. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is an institution completely absent of community and values. It's unfortunate but despite the blue ribbon they are actually not that great. The curriculum is average, the teachers try hard but have little, real support from the administration which is caught up in their own Rules and Test scores.

Shocking that they would earn a blue ribbon, with their mediocre institutional approach but again a sign of the weakness of the entire US Education system not a sign of a great school. In addition, this is a reasonably affluent area and the school is totally void of diversity, so if you want a humanity driven, diverse education beyond standardized test scores you should go elsewhere. try Penn View or Faith Christian Academy.
