I am the parent of a 10th grader at the school and believe my decision to send my child to BC was one of the best I have made. The atmosphere at the school is like a family atmosphere. Everyone cares about the students, not just their academic achievement but their social and spiritual development.

Bishop Carroll is a caring environment and does its best on the budget it has (less than 300 students). The school is progressive, has a great reading comprehension scores and has a high number of students going on to pursue higher academics. BC is not perfect, but gets an 'A' for its efforts in

Bishop Carroll is truly a 'community' where students and their families are valued. I send my child here for a Catholic Education and she is failing Religion. Why? Class has been conducted for over a month without individual textbooks. No money in the budget for books. Students share one in classroom, no homework, no class participation. No wonder they fail. For the price this is unacceptable.

All my children went here and it has/is progressively deteriorating in every area from academics, discipline, and extracurricular activities. Parental involvement and concern is completely ignored by the administration. Weapons Policy and Harrassment violations are swept under the rug - depends on who you are. I am very dissatisfied. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
