The Junior High is run much better than SOME of the elelmentary schools. Mr. Allen and Carrie Morgan Davis, are the best principals for the job they face in the Junior High. The only problematic area I can see; there are some of the regular teachers that do not work well with the IEP students and the ...  Read more

Being a seventh grader at BJHS, I would say that overall the Junior High is average. Most of the teachers are friendly, and they do their best to prevent bullying/drugs/alcohol. The education oppurtunities are good though, lots of class levels to choose from. However, don't expect too much; it's not ...  Read more

I have a teen in the Butler Junior High. So far her experiences have been a mix of good and not so good. The principal is very nice as well as the guidance counselor. The special education department appears to need improvement. I know teachers work hard, however special needs children have to have educators ...  Read more

After having two older sisters go through the Junior High before me and telling me all about their wonderful experiences, I had no worries; ...  Read more

I am a teacher at Butler Junior High. I am very impressed by the behavior of the students here and the interest they have in education. It is a good learning environment and a good workplace.

My children attend the Butler Middle School and when I pick them up at school I am amazed at the dress of some of the students. I am also very worried that students in Butler are falling behind other districts when it comes to Technology. I learned that there is 1 (yes you read that correctly) ONE ...  Read more

After dealing with the Butler Junior High, Intermediate and Senior High. My opinion of the special education dept is low. This is opinion is based on how they conduct their IEP for students with mental or behavior disabilities. They seem to think all kids are alike and needs are the same instead of coming ...  Read more
