For example, the art teacher does not teach the children to do art, but instead teaches them how to copy and trace, without letting them express themselves fully in their art. The academics are good, especially science, and present the children with challenges that require them to work, rather than the laid-back attitude most public schools have towards children in grammar school. The teachers make an effort to teach them rather than just presenting them with have learned more in this school from these caring teachers and the materials. I was a student at Hampton Middle School, and I must say that I have learned more from these teachers and students than I could have in any callous prep school, and have definitely had more fun doing so. Good school in a fast upcoming school district. School size is small compared to many other midle schools and this gives an advatage to the teachers and the students. AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
