... Read more into our fifth year there, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of education and the safety that IS Lamb Elementary School. There are many, many opportunities for our children to grow and succeed. There is a wonderful program for accelerated readers (AR), there is a TAG program, and there are absolutely no language barriers. Spanish speaking students will read fluently in spanish and english by the end of second grade. I am speaking for many other parents involved at Lamb when I say that this is truly a wonderful place for our children to be. Read less

My son attended Lamb for first grade. I was informed that there was no TAG program for kids, no advanced reading class, no extra-challenging work for him. If you have a gifted kid, reconsider sending him or her to Lamb.

Had two children attend this school. We pulled our son out this year as last year his education was wasted...he had a bad teacher that was a grump the entire year...no fun at all and he didnt' want to attend anymore. That wasn't normal for him. Overall a great school but when it comes to issues with

My son has started school at Lamb and really loves it. The principal and the staff are very dedicated to the kids, making the environment warm and welcoming. My main complaints are that his classroom is racially polarized--the Hispanic kids are taught and speak to each other in Spanish. The other children
... Read more are taught in English. All this creates is two cliques within the same classroom that aren't able to communicate with each other. The other thing I wish would change is that there are no holiday observances. Halloween costumes weren't allowed and there were no parties before Christmas/Winter break or Halloween. My son go's to the special needs classroom. He is autistic and Debbie is one of his teachers. All the teachers at this classroom are very wonderful people and also the teachers aids. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
