The state-of-the-art science lab has been an exciting place to do actual hands on learning in additon to book studies and what a blessing it is to have George Fox University be a part of enhancing the science experience. This is a highly Academic School with much to offer the students. The new classroom and Gym addition is almost complete and it will allow the school to continue to grow for many years to come. What a great place to learn, be loved, and accepted by the people around you on a daily basis. The only down side I see is that the every after school activies is offered at a fee, but with that price you get a quality activity. All three children attended WHCS. One in college now (and plans to send HER children to WHCS), one in high school and youngest in 8th grade. All LOVE WHCS. Very positive place to learn, and grow to love the Savior and others. Excellent leadership in all areas. The best teachers and staff!

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.
Gifted and Talented

Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
