There is no place I would rather have my children go. Corbett is exceptional- its been very difficult for my children to get good grades but I am certain they are learning far more than they would in any other school. I am a student currently enrolled in Corbett high school. I still have three more years to go but so far this year has been exceptional. Corbett High School is a remarkable place. The teachers are exceptionally committed to children. My daughter will have access to 11 Advanced Placement classes as well as a second language, music and visual arts. But it's the whole school, and not the pieces, that make it a really special experience.

... Read more make learning a fun and worth-while experience. It's obviously a much smaller school than most in the area, so naturally there aren't as many options as some would like. It isn't, however, near bad enough that I would ever think of leaving all of it's great qualities for a larger school with more options. The over-all atmosphere is what I love the most about Corbett. As a former student I look back on corbett as a exeptional school, however it's not without it's problems there is a sad lack of extra curricular activities in the school and some teachers don't seem to really love teaching and do not give there all. Corbett High School has many exceptional qualities such as first-rate Spanish, English, History, music, Science and Math teachers. I went to this school, and it not nearly as bad as [others have] made it out to be. I played soccer and track, and it was funded. ... Read more club. As for needing a tutor, I got great grades and I learned plenty, as my college grades are showing too. It has nothing to do with the education, but with how much the student wants to get out of it. That is the only drawback, most of the students have to be self motivated. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
