Read what parents are saying about Metro Christian AcademyMetro is a great school for my kids. I have a high school student and an elementary student. Both have had a great experience. I love that the school is small enough that you can participate on varsity athletics and participate in the school musical. Student Activities are really the heart beat of the school and they are done really well at Metro. My elem student benefits from a small class size and a team of teachers who know her strengths and her weaknesses and build on that. I couldn’t be more pleased with Metro!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have four children and they have all attended Carnegie. I’ve seen many teachers come and go over the years at this school but some core ones have remained and that seems to set a higher bar for new hires compared to most schools. This school attracts good teachers that care about kids. The culture is one of learning and discipline problems and any bullying is addressed swiftly. It really is a peaceful atmosphere for an elementary school and kids who behave are the norm. Kindergarten and first grade teams are phenomenal.Parent Review1y ago - Grimes Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Marshall Elementary School when I was a little girl. I finished all grades there. I was not able to attend the 6th grade because I had already signed up to a middle school, and that is where I am now. I am now going to start 8th grade this year of 2013. Marshall is a great school to let your children go to. They experience so many new things!! Honestly the teachers are fantastic. I absolutely loved this school!! I lived in South Glen Apartments, also another great place, so getting to school wasn't a trouble at all. I've heard that Marshall has changed a bit since I left, but it was the only elementary school I ever went to and I'm glad I went there.Other Review10y ago - Mcclure Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with this school is terrible the teachers pick favorites the principal(Tiffany Morgan) is not liked by most of the parents whose kids go there if the principal doesn't like you she will not allow you into the school the students are very violent the teachers hardly do anything about it but my main concern is the principles of the school they will purposely try to get your kids in trouble I do not recommend your kids goes to this school do everything in your power to make sure your kids do not go to this school. If you don't believe me ask the other parents who regret this mistake as wellParent Review2y ago - Wright Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school went through a lot of changes this school year (2014-15), and not for the better. While my child's teachers were caring and capable, the atmosphere of the school was chaotic. There's a lack of discipline (or very ineffective discipline) and the administration and teachers were disorganized. So much so that it greatly interfered with classroom learning. Per my child, one teacher admitted they did not cover all material necessary prior to state testing. Communication between the school and parents was lacking as well. There's essentially no PTA. The few parents that are involved seemed overwhelmed and discouraged by the end of the year. We were hopeful that this school would return to it's 5 star rating it once received. However, it did not come close to that. The only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 2 is because of the deaf education program which many parents seem to be pleased with (we were not part of that program). Surely TPS offers better options for mainstream classes.Parent Review8y ago - Victory Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo much potential but sadly the school does not ask the right questions and is not improving. We have found it very cliquish, an environment that looks a lot at the appearances/externals. Sadly there is no parent group at all, very disappointed with the experience in 4th-5th grades. The principal does not go into my child's 5th grade class ever. Teachers and the elementary principal do not return emails and are unapproachable. No recess in the 5th grade?? Elementary PE program has very little games or sports building.Parent Review4y ago - Evangelistic Temple School
